Meet Dr. Lesley Jacklin
At a young age, I always enjoyed the various science courses I took in school, finding it fascinating to learn how the body works. There are billions of processes occurring inside of us at any given moment, which keep us alive and healthy, and we don’t even need to think about it. My interest in science, along with my empathic nature and passion for helping others, made it clear to me that I would pursue a career in health care. It wasn’t until I learned about the amazing ability of chiropractic to help people live their lives to their fullest potential naturally, that I knew a career in chiropractic was the right choice for me.
Witnessing the Benefits of Chiropractic
I have been fortunate enough to both experience the benefits of chiropractic care for myself (starting at age 13, when my parents brought me for my first spinal check-up), and to witness my parents’ journey with chiropractic over the past few years.

The thing that inspires me the most is not only the disappearance of their aches and pains, but the fact that they have more energy, stronger immune systems, and better sleep now than they did 20 years ago!
I graduated from The University of Western Ontario with an Honours Bachelor Degree in Health Sciences and then went on to graduate from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2015 with Cum Laude distinction. I joined Bruce Street Family Chiropractic in 2017 where I have had the privilege of witnessing the incredible healing power of the body when the spine is properly cared for.
I love to work with people of all ages, from newborns to seniors, and help them achieve their health goals. I am a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and am certified in the Webster Technique.
At Bruce Street Family Chiropractic, I enjoy working with your body’s incredible potential to heal, so I can help improve the quality of your life. By removing spinal subluxations, your brain and your body can fully communicate with each other and function at their best. So many people are living their lives in pain or discomfort, or just generally feeling run-down–and it doesn’t have to be this way! Just as we brush our teeth each day to maintain good oral health, caring for the spine is an ongoing process that can yield excellent health benefits.
Staying Active in Kitchener
When I am not in my practice, I enjoy spending time at home with my son whom we welcomed into the family in 2022. I love to stay active through walks in nature and workouts at home.
